Savory ground pork cooked with cabbage, mushrooms, onion, garlic, and bold Asian flavors in delightful cabbage cups. Perfect for a simple and delicious meal!
Ingredients:
  • 1 medium head cabbage
  • 2 pounds ground pork
  • 1 large yellow onion, diced
  • 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon finely grated fresh ginger
  • 0.25 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 medium green onions, chopped
Instructions:
  • Inspect the cabbage head and discard any damaged leaves. Keep aside 6 larger leaves for serving. Dice the rest of the cabbage head and set it aside.
  • In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook ground pork until browned, about 5 minutes. Add diced cabbage, onion, mushrooms, garlic, and ginger to the skillet. Reduce heat to medium and cook until onion softens, about 5 minutes.
  • Enhance with soy sauce, vinegar, and sesame oil. Mix well to blend flavors, letting it sit for 1 to 2 minutes to develop rich taste.
  • Place cabbage leaves on a clean surface and generously stuff them with flavorful pork mixture. Top with freshly chopped green onions for a pop of color and freshness.
