Ingredients:
  • 1 pound ground chuck
  • 1.5 teaspoons chili powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 teaspoons paprika
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 0.25 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 0.25 teaspoon ground allspice
  • 2 teaspoons prepared yellow mustard
  • 1 teaspoon beef base
  • 1 cup water, or more as needed
  • 3 teaspoons buttery crackers (such as Keebler Club® Crackers)
Instructions:
  • In a large saucepan over medium-high heat, combine ground chuck, spices, beef base, and 1 cup water. Break up the beef with a potato masher and mix well. Bring to a simmer, reduce heat to medium-low, and simmer for 2 to 3 hours, adding water as needed. Once softened, stir in crushed crackers to thicken.
