A luscious Mexican dessert with layers of Maria cookies, tangy lime juice, and creamy evaporated milk & condensed milk. Perfect for a quick, no-bake treat.
Ingredients:
  • 1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 (14 ounce) can evaporated milk
  • 2 limes, zested and juiced
  • 1 (7 ounce) package Mexican Maria cookies (galletas Maria)
Instructions:
  • Mix together condensed milk, evaporated milk, and zesty lime juice in a bowl until smooth using an electric mixer.
  • First, lay a single layer of Maria cookies on the base of a small baking dish. Pour over a layer of the milk mixture, then continue alternating layers of cookies and milk mixture, with the final layer being the milk mixture. Seal the baking dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate until set, ideally for 5 hours or overnight. Enjoy after chilling!
  • Cut the dish into squares and generously sprinkle with fragrant lime zest for a burst of citrus flavor.
