Transport your taste buds to Cuba with this easy and delicious dessert featuring bananas, brown sugar, butter, raisins, and pecans. Say hello to a taste of 'postre Cubano!'
Ingredients:
  • 6 bananas, sliced lengthwise
  • 0.5 cup light brown sugar
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter, cut into small pieces
  • 0.5 cup chopped pecans
  • 0.5 cup raisins
  • 1 tablespoon brandy
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to a toasty 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and gently butter a 9x13 inch casserole dish.
  • Layer half of the banana slices on the bottom of the casserole dish. Sprinkle with half of the brown sugar, butter, pecans, and raisins. Add remaining banana slices and repeat layering with the rest of the brown sugar, butter, pecans, and raisins.
  • After baking in a preheated oven for 30 minutes, allow the dish to cool for 5 minutes before generously sprinkling brandy over the top just before serving.
