Skip the bakery and whip up delicious homemade muffins that are warm, easy to make, and irresistibly tasty!
Ingredients:
  • 1 box (12.3 oz) Betty Crocker™ Banana Nut Muffin & Quick Bread Mix
  • 2/3 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1/3 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon butter or margarine, softened
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 400°F and line a standard muffin tin with paper baking cups or grease the bottoms only.
  • Combine Muffin Mix, Walnuts, milk, oil, egg, and chocolate chips in a medium bowl until just blended. Fill the muffin cups two-thirds full with the batter.
  • Combine brown sugar and butter in a small bowl, then sprinkle over batter in each cup.
  • Bake for 17 to 21 minutes until golden brown with tops springing back when touched lightly. Let cool for 5 minutes (if not using paper baking cups, run a knife around edges before removing); then take out from the pan.
