Garlic-infused prawns broiled in butter, served on a bed of flavorful tomato sauce.
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup butter, divided
  • 1 medium head garlic, peeled and minced
  • 1 (28 ounce) can crushed tomatoes
  • 2 pounds large prawns - peeled, deveined and butterflied
  • 0.25 cup chopped fresh parsley
Instructions:
  • In a saucepan, gently melt 1/2 cup of butter over low heat. Add 1 minced head of garlic and sauté for 2 to 3 minutes until softened. Incorporate the tomatoes and let it simmer until thickened into a paste, which should take around 60 to 90 minutes.
  • In a saucepan, gently melt the remaining 1/2 cup of butter over low heat. Saute the remaining garlic for 2 to 3 minutes until fragrant.
  • Coat prawns in decadent garlic butter sauce and arrange on a baking sheet. Broil until they turn a beautiful shade of pink, being careful not to overcook.
  • Spread the velvety tomato mixture onto plates and nestle the succulent prawns on top, then lavish them with fresh chopped parsley.
