Whip up flavorful preserved lemons for a zesty touch to your Moroccan and Middle-Eastern cuisine.
Ingredients:
  • 10 lemons
  • 120.00 gm sea salt
  • 5 bay leaves
  • 5 cinnamon sticks
Instructions:
  • Quarter lemons lengthways while keeping the bases intact. Massage each lemon's center with 1/4 cup of sea salt. Arrange lemons in a jar with bay leaves and cinnamon sticks and sprinkle 1/4 cup of sea salt. Pour in lemon juice until lemons are fully submerged.
  • Store the sealed container in a cool, dark place for six weeks. When ready to use, rinse the item with water and remove and discard the flesh.
