Make bratwurst-stuffed pretzel bites using pizza dough for a delicious party snack.
Ingredients:
  • 6 cups water
  • 0.33333334326744 cup baking soda
  • 1 (13.8 ounce) package refrigerated pizza dough
  • 12 links smoked bratwurst
  • 1 pinch kosher salt
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 450 degrees F (230 degrees C) and prepare a baking sheet by greasing it lightly or lining it with foil.
  • Combine water and baking soda in a large saucepan, then bring to a boil.
  • Place dough on a lightly floured surface and roll it into a 10x12-inch rectangle. Cut it into twelve 1-inch strips. Wrap each strip tightly around a bratwurst in a spiral, pinching edges to seal, and leaving 1/2 inch of bratwurst showing at each end.
  • Carefully lower 3 wrapped bratwurst into the bubbling water. Boil for approximately 30 seconds. Place the bratwurst on the ready baking sheet. Sprinkle with salt. Repeat the process with the remaining wrapped bratwurst.
  • Bake the bratwursts until they are beautifully golden brown, approximately 12 minutes. Cut each bratwurst into thirds and serve with mustard.
