Irresistibly moist pumpkin bread perfectly spiced with pumpkin pie seasoning, no extra toppings necessary.
Ingredients:
  • 3.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 3 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 3 cups white sugar
  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 (15 ounce) can pumpkin puree
  • 0.5 cup water
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and grease two 9x5 inch loaf pans. In a bowl, sift together flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, and pumpkin pie spice. Set aside.
  • Combine sugar, oil, eggs, and pumpkin in a large bowl. Gradually mix in the flour mixture and water alternately. Divide the batter evenly between the prepared pans.
  • Place the mixture in the preheated oven and bake for 60 to 70 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean. Allow the cake to sit at room temperature, wrapped in plastic wrap, for a full day before serving for optimal flavor.
