Succulent bacon-infused creamy spinach - perfect pairing with chicken and warm rolls.
Ingredients:
  • 2.6666667461395 tablespoons butter
  • 1.5 large white onions, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 0.5 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1.5 teaspoons salt
  • 2.5 cups milk
  • 3 (10 ounce) packages frozen chopped spinach - thawed, drained, and squeezed dry
  • 0.5 cup half-and-half
Instructions:
  • In a large skillet over medium heat, melt butter until sizzling. Add onion, bacon, and garlic, stirring occasionally until bacon is crispy, about 5 to 7 minutes.
  • Blend flour, salt, and black pepper into onion mixture until a smooth paste forms, about 1 to 2 minutes.
  • Gradually pour milk into the fragrant onion mixture, whisking gently. Continuously whisk until the sauce becomes thick and creamy, which should take about 3 to 5 minutes.
  • Combine the vibrant spinach and creamy half-and-half into the luscious sauce, cooking until the spinach is warmed through, which should take about 4 to 6 minutes.
