Indulge in a crowd-pleasing raspberry pie that can be made with fresh or frozen raspberries, perfect for any time of year. Recipe yields 2 pies.
Ingredients:
  • 2 (9 inch) unbaked pie crusts
  • 2 eggs
  • 1.3333333730698 cups sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 0.33333334326744 cup all-purpose flour
  • 3 cups raspberries
  • 0.5 cup brown sugar
  • 0.5 cup all-purpose flour
  • 0.5 cup chopped walnuts
  • 0.25 cup butter, chilled
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) for the perfect cooking temperature.
  • In a large bowl, whisk eggs until pale and lemony. Stir in sour cream and vanilla. In another bowl, combine sugar, flour, and salt. Mix into the egg mixture. Carefully fold in raspberries. Pour the filling into 2 unbaked pie crusts.
  • Bake the pies in the preheated oven for 30 to 35 minutes until the center starts to set. Skip the topping for now.
  • Prepare the topping by combining brown sugar, flour, chopped nuts, and butter in a bowl until crumbly. Set aside while the pies bake.
  • Cover pies with delectable topping and bake until it turns a beautiful golden brown, about 10 to 15 minutes. Let the pies cool before enjoying.
