Elevate your Italian night with creamy tomato sauce over sausage pasta - ready in just 25 minutes!
Ingredients:
  • 12 ounces frozen cheese-filled ravioli
  • 1 pound bulk Italian sausage
  • 1 large onion, chopped (1 cup)
  • 1 medium green bell pepper, chopped (1 cup)
  • 1 can (14 1/2 ounces) beef broth
  • 1/4 cup tomato paste
  • 1/2 teaspoon crushed fennel seed
  • 1/4 cup half-and-half
Instructions:
  • Prepare and cook ravioli according to package instructions.
  • While the ravioli is cooking, sauté the sausage, onion, and bell pepper in a nonstick skillet over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally, until the sausage is cooked through; drain any excess fat.
  • Combine broth, tomato paste, and fennel seed into the sausage mixture and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium and simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add half-and-half and continue cooking for an additional 5 to 6 minutes until the sauce reaches your desired thickness. Serve the sauce over ravioli.
