Ravioli Lasagna

Indulge in a cheesy beef and sausage ravioli lasagna topped with fresh basil.
Ingredients:
  • 1 1/4 cups ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups shredded Italian cheese blend (8 oz)
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh basil leaves
  • 2 cups marinara or tomato pasta sauce (any variety)
  • 3 packages (9 oz each) refrigerated spicy beef- and sausage-filled ravioli
  • 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese (2 oz)
  • Shredded fresh basil leaves, if desired
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 425°F and generously coat an 11x7-inch (2-quart) glass baking dish with cooking spray.
  • Combine ricotta cheese, 1/2 cup of cheese blend, and chopped basil in a small bowl. Spread 1/2 cup of marinara sauce on the bottom of a baking dish. Layer ingredients as follows: ravioli, 1/2 cup marinara sauce, half of the ricotta mixture, second package of ravioli, 1/2 cup marinara sauce, remaining ricotta mixture, remaining ravioli, 1/2 cup marinara sauce. Top with 1 1/2 cups cheese blend and Parmesan cheese. Bake according to recipe instructions.
  • Bake for about 25 minutes until hot and bubbly, then sprinkle with shredded basil for a finishing touch.
