Indulgent Southern peanut butter pie topped with fluffy whipped topping.
Ingredients:
  • 0.75 cup confectioners' sugar
  • 0.33333334326744 cup peanut butter
  • 1 baked (9-inch) pie crust
  • 0.33333334326744 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 egg yolks, beaten
  • 2 teaspoons butter
  • 1 (4 ounce) container frozen whipped topping, thawed
Instructions:
  • Mix confectioners' sugar and peanut butter in a bowl until crumbly. Set aside 2 tablespoons of the peanut butter mixture for garnish. Spread the rest of the peanut butter mixture onto the pie crust.
  • Combine milk, white sugar, flour, egg yolks, and salt in a saucepan over medium heat until thickened and bubbling, 5 to 10 minutes. Remove from heat and add butter and vanilla. Pour over peanut butter mixture and chill in the refrigerator until set, about 2 hours.
  • Cover the chilled pie with a generous layer of whipped topping, then sprinkle the reserved 2 tablespoons of peanut butter mixture on top.
