Oven-baked barbecue shrimp cooked in butter and Creole seasoning, a crowd-pleasing rich dinner.
Ingredients:
  • 5 pounds medium shrimp, with shells
  • 2 pounds butter
  • 1 medium sweet onion, minced
  • 8 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 stalks celery, diced
  • 0.25 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 2 tablespoons Creole seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons dried rosemary
  • 0.5 cup Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and evenly distribute the shrimp in baking dishes.
  • In a large skillet over medium heat, melt 1/2 cup of butter. Add onion, garlic, celery, parsley, Creole seasoning, and rosemary. Sauté until onion is tender. Lower the heat and stir in the remaining butter until melted. Mix in pepper, Worcestershire sauce, and lemon juice. Pour over shrimp, ensuring they are fully covered.
  • Cook the shrimp in the oven until they turn pink, which should take around 15 to 20 minutes.
