Indulgent maple bacon, crunchy broccoli, colorful onions, sweet grapes, and toasty almonds tossed in a creamy dressing.
Ingredients:
  • 2 pounds maple-flavored bacon
  • 1 large head fresh broccoli, chopped
  • 0.75 cup chopped celery
  • 0.25 cup minced green onions
  • 0.25 cup diced red onion
  • 1.5 cups seedless grapes, halved
  • 0.75 cup blanched slivered almonds
  • 0.25 cup white sugar
  • 2 tablespoons distilled white vinegar
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
Instructions:
  • In a large skillet, sizzle up the bacon over medium-high heat, keeping an eye on it until it's perfectly browned. Let it cool down, then crumble it up into tasty pieces.
  • Preheat the oven to 300 degrees F (150 degrees C). Evenly spread slivered almonds on a baking sheet and bake for 12-14 minutes until lightly golden, flipping them once halfway through. Allow to cool.
  • Combine creamy mayonnaise with a touch of sweetness from sugar and a hint of acidity from vinegar in a small bowl. Set aside for later use.
  • In a large bowl, mix together broccoli, bacon, celery, green onions, red onions, grapes, and toasted almonds. Drizzle with mayonnaise dressing and refrigerate for a few hours to chill.
