Deliciously zesty tomato juice mocktail, perfect for breakfast or as a refreshing pre-dinner drink.
Ingredients:
  • 400g ripe tomatoes, chilled
  • 125ml (1/2 cup) water
  • 31.50 gm fresh lemon juice
  • 15.25 gm Worcestershire sauce
  • 2-3 drops red Tabasco pepper sauce
  • Salt & freshly ground black pepper
  • Ice cubes
  • 2 celery sticks with leaves, to serve
  • Lemon wedges, to serve
Instructions:
  • Process the tomatoes using a juice extractor or blend in a blender until pureed. Strain through a sieve into a jug, discarding seeds and skin.
  • In a cocktail shaker, mix together 300ml of tomato juice, water, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, and Tabasco. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Add ice cubes, cover, and shake vigorously until chilled.
  • Pour the tomato mixture through a strainer into 2 elegant serving glasses. Top with fresh celery sticks and zesty lemon wedges before serving promptly.
