Try this quick homemade onion salsa, packed with fresh veggies, to elevate any dish!
Ingredients:
  • 2 medium red onions, finely chopped (about 1 1/2 cups)
  • 1 medium tomato, finely chopped (about 3/4 cup)
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions (2 to 3 medium)
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon olive or vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon reduced-sodium soy sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground red pepper (cayenne)
  • 4 cloves garlic, finely chopped
Instructions:
  • Combine all ingredients in a glass or plastic bowl, cover, and chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
