Reese's™ Peanut Butter Cup Brownie Torte

Indulge in a decadent treat: Layered chocolate brownies topped with Reese's™ peanut butter cups.
Ingredients:
  • 1 box (17.8 oz) Betty Crocker™ Delights Supreme Triple Chunk Brownie Mix
  • Water, vegetable oil and eggs called for on brownie mix box for cakelike brownies
  • 1 cup from 1 tub (16 oz) Betty Crocker™ Rich & Creamy Chocolate Frosting
  • 9 Reese's peanut butter cups miniatures, unwrapped, coarsely chopped
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 350°F (325°F for dark or nonstick pan). Line a 9-inch square pan with foil, leaving an overhang. Grease the foil with shortening or cooking spray. Follow box instructions for cakelike brownies. Allow them to cool on a rack for about 1 1/2 hours until completely cooled.
  • Gently lift the brownies using the foil, transfer them from the pan, and peel off the foil. Cut the brownie in half and place one half on a serving plate.
  • Transfer frosting to a microwavable bowl and microwave on High for 15 seconds. Stir until smooth. Spread half of the frosting over one brownie half on a plate. Place the other brownie half on top and spread the remaining frosting over the top. Sprinkle with candies. Refrigerate for 30 minutes to set. Store loosely covered.
