Decadent peanut butter-chocolate bars loaded with your favorite candy.
Ingredients:
  • 1 1/3 cups packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup butter or margarine, melted
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups Gold Medal™ all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 36 Reese's peanut butter cups miniatures, unwrapped (from 15.6-oz bag)
  • 1/2 cup milk chocolate chips
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (or 325°F for dark or nonstick pan). Grease a 13x9-inch pan with shortening or cooking spray.
  • In a large bowl, combine brown sugar, butter, peanut butter, vanilla, and eggs until well blended using an electric mixer or a spoon. Add flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Cut 12 candies into fourths (about 3/4 cup) and mix with chocolate chips into the batter. Spread the mixture in the pan.
  • Bake until golden brown, about 25 to 30 minutes. Press the remaining 24 candies into the brownies in 4 even rows of 6 candies each. Allow to cool completely for about 1 1/2 hours. Then cut the brownies into 6 rows by 4 rows.
