Transform classic pickles with tangy Polish pickles, sweet brown sugar, and zesty apple cider vinegar in a timeless family recipe.
Ingredients:
  • 1 (32 ounce) jar Polish dill pickles, cut into thick bite-size pieces
  • 0.5 cup cider vinegar
  • 0.25 cup packed brown sugar
  • 0.25 cup cold water
  • 1 tablespoon pickling spice
Instructions:
  • Return the pickle pieces to their rightful home in the jar.
  • Combine white sugar, cider vinegar, brown sugar, water, and pickling spice in a saucepan. Bring to a boil and simmer until it turns into a syrup, approximately 2 minutes.
