Reunion Rum Punch

Tropical punch with pineapple juice, chai tea, rum, and vermouth, inspired by Reunion Island.
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 chai tea bag
  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 8 cups pineapple juice
  • 2 cups rum, or as needed
  • 1 cup dry vermouth (such as Martini®)
  • 3 tablespoons vanilla-flavored syrup
Instructions:
  • Boil water in a saucepan, then pour into a mug to brew chai tea for 5 minutes. Remove tea bag, stir in brown sugar until dissolved, and let tea cool for 10 minutes.
  • Combine tea, pineapple juice, rum, vermouth, and vanilla syrup in a punch bowl. Stir thoroughly and refrigerate for a minimum of 2 hours before serving.
