Deliciously light and simple cheese-filled cake, with a twist!
Ingredients:
  • 1 (18.25 ounce) package yellow cake mix
  • 24 ounces ricotta cheese
  • 0.75 cup white sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 0.25 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 0.125 cup confectioners' sugar for dusting
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and lightly grease a 9x13-inch pan.
  • Prepare the yellow cake mix as instructed on the package and then transfer the batter into the prepared pan.
  • Combine the ricotta cheese, sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract, then pour the mixture over the cake batter.
  • After baking at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for approximately 45 minutes, dust the cooled cake with confectioners' sugar.
