Easy and flavorful roasted pork shoulder, perfect for tacos or barbecue. Just season, roast, and enjoy!
Ingredients:
  • 7 large cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons paprika
  • 2 tablespoons dried oregano
  • 1.5 tablespoons kosher salt
  • 1.5 teaspoons ground black pepper
  • 1 (4.5 pound) boneless pork shoulder
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 325°F (165°C) and place a rack in the middle. Line a large rimmed baking sheet with heavy-duty aluminum foil and a rack.
  • Combine garlic, olive oil, paprika, oregano, salt, and pepper in a small bowl. Massage the pork generously with the flavorful garlic mixture. Set the pork with the fat-side up on the rack on the baking sheet. Allow the pork to rest at room temperature for 30 minutes before cooking.
  • Roast in the oven without a cover until a meat thermometer inserted in the thickest part shows a temperature between 195 to 205 degrees F (90 to 96 degrees C), approximately 4 1/2 hours.
  • Allow to rest for 20 minutes before shredding.
