Elevate your meal with stunning roasted purple cauliflower smothered in gooey Gouda cheese.
Ingredients:
  • 1 head purple cauliflower, cut into small florets
  • 1 medium lemon, zested and juiced
  • 1 cup grated Gouda cheese
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil, or as needed
  • salt and cracked black pepper to taste
Instructions:
  • Put cauliflower in a covered container. Sprinkle a touch of lemon zest if desired, then pour all the lemon juice. Drizzle enough oil to coat florets lightly. Add garlic, olive oil, salt, and pepper. Cover and shake the container thoroughly.
  • Allow the mixture to marinate at room temperature for 1 to 5 hours.
  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) for the perfect cooking temperature.
  • Place the cauliflower into a baking dish.
  • Roast in the preheated oven until florets caramelize and turn golden brown, approximately 30 minutes. Top with Gouda cheese and bake for an extra 5 minutes. Enjoy right away or store for later.
