Lemon pepper seasoned roasted turnips and carrots.
Ingredients:
  • cooking spray
  • 1 large turnip, peeled and chopped
  • 2 medium carrots, peeled and sliced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon lemon-pepper seasoning
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with foil, then spray with non-stick cooking spray.
  • In a large bowl, mix chopped turnip and carrots with olive oil, lemon pepper, and salt until well combined and the lemon pepper has dissolved. Spread the vegetable mixture evenly on the prepared baking sheet.
  • Roast in the preheated oven for 30 minutes. Continue roasting until vegetables are tender, about an additional 15 minutes.
