Elevate your holiday party with a festive cinnamon Christmas cocktail using sparkling red grape juice for a non-alcoholic twist.
Ingredients:
125ml orange juice
2 tsp orange zest
1cinnamon stick or quill
4whole cloves
55g caster sugar
500ml lemonade
750ml bottle rosé wine or sparkling red grape juice
120g fresh strawberries, thinly sliced
120g fresh raspberries
Watermelon balls, to serve
Mint leaves, to serve
Ice cubes, to serve
Instructions:
In a saucepan over low heat, gently blend orange juice, orange zest, cinnamon, cloves, and sugar. Stir for 5 mins until sugar dissolves. Take off heat and let sit for 30 mins to infuse.
Pour the orange mixture through a fine sieve into a serving jug. Next, top it off with lemonade and wine or grape juice. Finally, garnish with strawberries, raspberries, watermelon balls, mint, and ice before serving.
