Elevate party snacks with caramel corn, marshmallows, and chocolate chips.
Ingredients:
  • 6 cups popped popcorn
  • 2 cups Golden Grahams™ cereal
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 1/2 cups packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup light corn syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 cups miniature marshmallows
  • 2 cups miniature semisweet chocolate chips
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 250°F. Combine popcorn and cereal in a large baking pan; set aside.
  • In a large saucepan over medium heat, melt butter. Add brown sugar, corn syrup, and salt. Bring to a boil and cook for 5 minutes without stirring. Remove from heat and carefully mix in baking soda and vanilla (mixture will foam). Pour over popcorn and stir until fully coated.
  • Bake for 40 minutes, remembering to stir every 10 minutes for even cooking.
  • Top the popcorn mixture with a layer of marshmallows and place it under the broiler for 2 to 3 minutes until the marshmallows are lightly golden. Scatter the chocolate chips over the mixture, gently stir, and let it cool until set.
