S’mores Cereal Bars

Grandma's loving acceptance included delicious s'mores with chocolate and marshmallows.
Ingredients:
  • Cooking spray, for the pan
  • 2 (10-ounce) bags mini marshmallows, divided
  • 1/2 cup (113g) unsalted butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 9 cups graham cracker cereal, like Golden Grahams
  • 1 1/2 cups semisweet chocolate chips, divided
Instructions:
  • Get the pan ready by giving a gentle spritz of cooking spray to a 9x9-inch cake pan. Then, set it aside.
  • Set aside 1/2 cup of marshmallows for topping. In a large saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the rest of the marshmallows and stir continuously until completely melted and smooth. Remove from heat and stir in the salt.
  • Combine graham cracker cereal with melted marshmallows in a large bowl. Allow mixture to cool slightly, then gently fold in 1 cup of chocolate chips.
  • Press mixture into pan evenly, top with 1/2 cup marshmallows, torch until toasted, sprinkle with 1/2 cup chocolate chips. Cool at least 30 minutes, cut into bars. Enjoy! Don't forget to rate the recipe below!
