Indoor s'mores trifle: a delectable twist on the classic campfire treat.
Ingredients:
  • 1 box Betty Crocker™ Fudge Brownie Mix
  • Water, vegetable oil and eggs called for on brownie mix box
  • 1 container (8 oz) Cool Whip frozen whipped topping, thawed
  • 1/2 cup marshmallow creme
  • 12 graham crackers
  • 2 tablespoons chocolate-flavor syrup
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F. Line a 13x9-inch pan with foil, leaving an overhang on the edges. Grease the foil with shortening or cooking spray. Prepare and bake the brownies according to the box instructions. Allow them to cool completely on a rack for about 1 hour.
  • In a medium bowl, combine the whipped topping and marshmallow creme until smooth. Crumble 6 graham crackers into the mixture and stir well to combine. Refrigerate the mixture once covered.
  • Gently lift the brownies using foil, then cut them into 1-inch pieces. Place half of the brownie pieces at the bottom of a 3-quart trifle dish. Crumble 2 graham crackers over the brownies, and then layer with half of the marshmallow mixture.
  • Continue layering until all ingredients are used, finishing with the marshmallow mixture on top. Sprinkle the remaining 2 graham crackers over the top and generously drizzle with chocolate syrup. Serve promptly and store covered in the refrigerator.
