Gooey S’mores Brownies

Summer treat: S'mores brownies with graham crackers, fudgy brownie layer, and toasted marshmallows!
Ingredients:
  • 1 box (17.8 oz) Betty Crocker™ Delights Supreme Triple Chunk Brownie Mix
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/3 cup oil
  • 1/4 cup water
  • About 12 squares graham crackers, to cover bottom of pan
  • About 4 chocolate bars or 1 cup chocolate chips
  • About 2 cups large marshmallows, to cover top of brownies
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (325°F for dark or nonstick pan) and prepare an 8-inch or 9-inch square baking pan by lining it with parchment paper.
  • Follow the instructions on the brownie mix box to prepare the mix with egg, oil, and water. Line a baking pan with graham crackers at the bottom. Pour the brownie mixture over the graham crackers and bake according to the recommended time for your pan size on the box.
  • Sprinkle baked brownies with chocolate bars or chips and place them back in the oven for a minute to melt. Once melted, spread the chocolate layer evenly over the brownies.
  • Sprinkle marshmallows on top and bake until golden. Switch oven to low broil and broil marshmallows for 30-60 seconds, being cautious not to burn them.
  • Coat a sharp knife with cooking spray before cutting into uniform squares.
