Ingredients:
  • 4 Turkish pide rolls, split
  • 75.00 gm basil pesto
  • 8 slices Swiss cheese
  • 60g baby spinach leaves
  • 100g thinly sliced salami
  • 150g marinated capsicum, patted-dry with paper towels
  • olive oil cooking spray, optional
Instructions:
  • Spread the flavorful pesto over the roll bases, then layer them with 1 slice of cheese, spinach, savory salami, and crispy capsicum. Finish with more cheese and the roll tops to create a mouthwatering sandwich.
  • Preheat a sandwich press or heat a frying pan over medium-high heat. Cook rolls until golden and toasted, about 2 to 4 minutes per side after spraying with oil.
  • Halve the rolls and present them.
