Elevate your omelette with gourmet smoked salmon and creamy camembert or opt for a quick weekday option with canned salmon and sharp cheddar.
Ingredients:
  • 8 eggs
  • 80ml (1/3 cup) water
  • 4.60 gm olive oil
  • 150g sliced smoked salmon
  • 100g camembert, thinly sliced
  • 80g mixed salad leaves
Instructions:
  • In a medium bowl, vigorously whisk together the eggs, water, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  • Brush a small non-stick frying pan with a touch of oil to grease lightly. Heat over medium-high heat. Pour in 125ml (1/2 cup) of the egg mixture, swirling the pan to coat the base evenly. Gently lift the edges as the omelette cooks, allowing any uncooked eggs to flow underneath. Cook for 1-2 minutes or until perfectly set.
  • Place a generous amount of the salmon and creamy camembert over one side of the omelette. Gently fold the omelette in half to create a delicious filling. Transfer to a serving plate and cover with foil to hold the warmth. Repeat this process three more times using the rest of the oil, egg mixture, salmon, and camembert.
  • Serve the omelettes and mixed salad leaves on individual plates.
