Tangy tomatillos create zesty salsa verde for a spicy twist on classic salsa.
Ingredients:
  • 8 oz tomatillos, husks removed, rinsed, cut in half*
  • 2 canned serrano chiles, rinsed and seeded, or 1 fresh serrano chile, seeded
  • 1/4 cup chopped red onion
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro or parsley
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions:
  • Combine all ingredients in a food processor or blender and blend until smooth. Enjoy right away or store in the refrigerator for up to a week.
