Ingredients:
  • 1 egg
  • 21.00 gm soy sauce
  • 1kg chicken drumettes
  • 1 tsp cracked black pepper
  • 2 tsp sumac
  • 4.80 gm sea salt flakes
  • 125.00 ml plain flour
  • olive oil cooking spray
  • Chilli sauce, to serve
  • Salad leaves, to serve
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to a toasty 220°C/200°C fan-forced, and elegantly line a baking tray with a sheet of baking paper.
  • In a large bowl, mix the egg and soy sauce, then add the drumettes and toss until well coated.
  • In a large bowl, mix together pepper, sumac, salt, and flour. Remove drumettes from the egg mixture and add them to the pepper mixture. Toss to coat the drumettes evenly. Transfer the coated drumettes to a prepared tray and spray with oil.
  • Roast drumettes until golden and cooked through, about 25-30 minutes, flipping once. Serve with chili sauce and salad leaves.
