Simple and satisfying sausage and white bean cassoulet, perfect for busy weeknights.
Ingredients:
  • Spray cooking oil
  • 1kg Angus Beef Sausages
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 40.00 ml instant gravy powder
  • 500.00 gm water
  • 400g can Mutti Diced Tomatoes
  • 1 sprig rosemary
  • 400g can Brand Cannellini Beans, rinsed, drained
  • Coles Bakery Rustic Baguette, to serve
Instructions:
  • Preheat a heavy-based saucepan over medium-high heat, spray with oil, and cook the sausages until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes. Transfer sausages to a plate. Add onion to the pan and cook until softened, about 1 minute. Stir in garlic and cook for 30 seconds. Return sausages to the pan.
  • Mix in the savory gravy powder until everything is nicely coated. Pour in water, tomatoes, and fragrant rosemary. Bring the mixture to a boil, then lower the heat to a gentle simmer. Cover the pot and let it simmer for 10 mins, or until the sauce thickens and the sausages are fully cooked. Add in the beans and season with a pinch of pepper. Serve alongside some delicious bread.
