Quick and delicious mince meal, ideal for busy weeknights.
Ingredients:
  • 1 medium brown onion, chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 600g beef mince
  • 20.00 ml plain flour
  • 255.00 gm beef stock
  • 24.40 gm worcestershire sauce
  • 125.00 ml frozen peas
  • Toasted rye bread, to serve
Instructions:
  • In a hot frying pan with oil, sauté onions and garlic until onions are soft. Stir in ground meat with a wooden spoon and cook until browned and fully cooked, about 8-10 minutes.
  • Sprinkle in the flour and cook, stirring, for about a minute. Pour in the stock, season with pepper, and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and let it simmer gently for 10 minutes until the sauce slightly thickens. Add Worcestershire sauce and peas, and cook for an additional 3 minutes until peas are tender. Serve with toast.
