Fruit snack-filled dog bowl cupcakes that are a hit with all ages. Simple yet exciting treat!
Ingredients:
  • 1 box Betty Crocker™ Super Moist™ Yellow Cake Mix (or your favorite flavor)
  • Water, vegetable oil and eggs called for on cake mix box
  • 2 boxes Betty Crocker™ Fruit Roll-Ups™ Blastin' Berry Hot Colors™ chewy fruit flavored snacks
  • 1 tub (16 oz) Betty Crocker™ Rich & Creamy Vanilla Frosting
  • 2 boxes Betty Crocker™ Scooby Doo™ or Fruit Gushers™ fruit flavored snacks
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F and line 24 regular-size muffin cups with foil or paper baking cups. Prepare the cake batter according to the box instructions, bake as directed to make cupcakes. Allow them to cool completely before proceeding.
  • Peel off paper from Betty Crocker Fruit Roll-Ups snacks and cut into 8-inch long by 1/2-inch wide strips. Gently spread a thin layer of frosting on the fruit snack strips, then wrap one around a cupcake and secure it to the cupcake liner.
  • Cut a 1 1/4-inch square from the yellow part of the Sizzlin' Red/Yellow Fruit Roll-Ups snacks and a 1-inch square from the blue part of the Blazin' Blue/Green Fruit Roll-Ups snacks; attach the blue square to the yellow one using a small amount of frosting. Cut out the letters S and D from the yellow portion of the fruit snacks and attach them to the square using water. Flip the cupcakes over, and attach them to the fruit strip on the cupcake liner using a small amount of frosting.
  • Using small kitchen scissors, delicately remove the bottom circle of each cupcake liner, leaving a 1/4 inch edge for the dog bowl look. Gently hollow out a small amount of cake from each cupcake. Fill each one with approximately 5 Scooby Doo snacks. Repeat for the rest of the cupcakes.
