Make perfect scrambled eggs on golden toast for a delightful meal for two.
Ingredients:
  • 1 small tomato
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 2 tablespoons margarine or butter
  • 2 slices bread
Instructions:
  • Rinse the tomato, dice it on a cutting board with a knife, and place the pieces in a clean jar.
  • Crack the eggs into the jar. Add cheese, salt, and tomato pieces. Seal the jar tightly with the lid and shake vigorously.
  • Place the margarine in the skillet and melt over medium heat, ensuring the skillet is well coated by tilting it.
  • Gently pour the egg mixture into the skillet and allow it to cook undisturbed. Use a pancake turner to gently stir the eggs once the bottom starts to firm up. Continue cooking for 5 to 8 minutes until the eggs are slightly firm but still creamy.
  • Toast the bread until golden. Cut each slice of toast in half on a cutting board using a knife. Top the toast slices with scrambled eggs and serve.
