Shepherd's Family Favorite Broiled Tilapia

Crispy broiled tilapia fillets are ready in just 20 minutes, perfect for a quick family meal.
Ingredients:
  • 0.25 cup salted butter
  • 0.5 tablespoon soy sauce (such as Kikkoman®)
  • 1 tablespoon white wine
  • 1 teaspoon water
  • 2 pounds tilapia fillets
  • 1 teaspoon ground paprika
  • 1 teaspoon dried tarragon
Instructions:
  • Position the oven rack 6 inches below the broiler and preheat the broiler.
  • In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter with soy sauce, wine, and water until the sauce is hot, about 5 minutes. Stir until smooth.
  • Cut the tilapia fillets in half lengthwise, then lay them out in a baking pan. Pour the warm sauce over the fish and sprinkle with paprika and tarragon.
  • Cook the fish in the preheated oven until it is golden on the edges and flakes easily with a fork, for 10-15 minutes.
