Whip up a simple and delicious English classic using Hamburger Helper® and Betty Crocker® potatoes for a hearty meal in one dish.
Ingredients:
  • 1 lb lean (at least 80%) ground beef
  • Hot water and milk called for on Hamburger Helper box
  • 1 box Hamburger Helper™ Salisbury
  • 1 1/2 cups frozen mixed vegetables, thawed
  • Betty Crocker™ mashed potatoes for 6 servings
  • Water, milk and butter called for on mashed potatoes box for 6 servings
  • 1/4 cup shredded Cheddar cheese (1 oz)
  • Chopped fresh parsley
Instructions:
  • In a skillet, brown the beef over medium-high heat for 5 to 7 minutes, stirring often; then drain. Add hot water, milk, sauce mix, uncooked pasta (from Hamburger Helper box), and thawed vegetables. Bring to a boil, stirring occasionally.
  • Simmer covered on low heat for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until pasta and vegetables are tender. Remove from heat.
  • Prepare the potatoes according to package instructions for 6 servings. Spread the mashed potatoes over the pasta mixture and gently smooth them out. Sprinkle with cheese, cover, and let sit for approximately 5 minutes until the cheese is melted. Finish off with a sprinkle of parsley for a pop of color and flavor.
