Ingredients:
  • 3 teaspoons ice-cold water, or as needed
  • 1.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 0.5 cup cold butter, chopped
  • 1 egg yolk
Instructions:
  • Combine the sifted flour and butter in a bowl, then work them together until you achieve a crumbly texture. Mix in the egg yolk and add water gradually until the dough comes together.
  • Shape the dough into a ball and gently knead it on a floured surface until it's smooth. Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
