Create a mouthwatering shrimp fried rice with cooked white rice, shrimp, green onion, egg, soy sauce, and bean sprouts for a delicious restaurant-quality dish.
Ingredients:
  • 1.5 cups uncooked white rice
  • 1 cup fresh bean sprouts
  • 0.5 cup chopped onion
  • 1.5 cups cooked medium shrimp, peeled and deveined without tail
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 0.25 cup chopped green onion
  • 4 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 0.25 teaspoon sesame oil
Instructions:
  • Collect all your delicious ingredients.
  • Heat water in a saucepan until boiling. Add rice and stir. Lower the heat, cover, and let it simmer for 20 minutes. Remove from heat and let the rice cool completely.
  • Preheat a large skillet or wok for 2 minutes until hot. Add vegetable oil, bean sprouts, and onions, then stir-fry for 3 minutes.
  • Add the chilled rice and shrimp to the pan and cook for an additional 3 minutes, stirring continuously.
  • Combine eggs, green onion, soy sauce, salt, pepper, and sesame oil in the pan and cook for 4 minutes, stirring constantly until eggs are fully cooked and ingredients are well mixed.
