Sausage and cheese stuffed pancakes served with syrup - ready in just 20 minutes for a satisfying breakfast sandwich.
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup Original Bisquick™ mix
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 2 teaspoons vegetable oil
  • 1 package (9.6 oz) frozen fully cooked pork sausage patties, thawed
  • 4 slices (3/4 oz each) American cheese, cut into quarters
  • 1 cup real maple or maple-flavored syrup, heated
Instructions:
  • Combine Bisquick mix, milk, egg, and oil in a medium bowl, stirring until well blended.
  • Preheat griddle to 375°F and lightly grease with vegetable oil or cooking spray. Spoon 1 tablespoon of batter for each pancake onto the griddle. Cook until bubbles form on top and edges are dry and puffed. Flip and cook until golden brown. Keep pancakes warm.
  • In the same skillet, cook the sausage patties for about 3 minutes. Then, flip them over and place 2 cheese quarters on each patty. Continue cooking for 3 to 4 minutes, until heated through and the cheese is melted.
  • Place a cheese-topped sausage patty on one pancake, then layer with a second pancake on top. Drizzle with syrup before serving.
