Easy no-churn strawberry lime sherbet with a hint of creamy milk and fluffy egg white.
Ingredients:
  • 0.75 cup white sugar
  • 0.25 cup milk
  • 0.25 cup lime juice
  • 2 quarts fresh strawberries, mashed
  • 1 egg white
Instructions:
  • Combine the sugar, milk, and lime juice in a bowl, then gently fold in the mashed strawberries.
  • Whisk egg white in any clean bowl until stiff peaks form. Gently fold it into the strawberry-lime mixture. Transfer the mixture into a freezer-safe container and cover with plastic wrap.
  • Chill until nearly solid, around 2 hours. Stir vigorously to break up any chunks. Freeze for an additional 3 hours, stirring every hour. Freeze until completely firm, between 8 hours and overnight.
