Delicious guilt-free treat perfect for snacking with your favorite beverage.
Ingredients:
  • 100g Light Dairy Spread
  • 60ml (1/4 cup) apple sauce
  • 1 egg
  • 100g raw caster sugar
  • 190g (1 1/4 cups) plain flour
  • 1.25 gm bicarbonate of soda
  • 90g (1 cup) rolled oats
  • 80g Dark Chocolate, finely chopped
  • 65g (1/3 cup) sultanas
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 180°C and line 2 baking trays with baking paper. In a jug, whisk together apple sauce, egg, and vanilla until well combined. In a separate bowl, use an electric beater to cream the spread and sugar until pale and creamy. Then, beat in the egg mixture until incorporated.
  • Sift the flour and bicarbonate of soda. Mix until fully combined. Add in the oats, chocolate, and sultanas, and stir well.
  • Spoon mixture onto lined trays, spaced 3cm apart. Bake for 16-18 minutes, swapping trays halfway, until golden. Cool on the trays for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
