Lightened up classic recipe with reduced fat and calories while keeping the delicious flavor intact.
Ingredients:
  • 1 can (40 oz) sweet potatoes in syrup, drained
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup fat-free egg product
  • 1/4 cup fat-free (skim) milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 3 tablespoons Gold Medal™ all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon no-trans-fat 68% vegetable oil spread, melted
  • 1/3 cup chopped pecans
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F and generously coat a 1 1/2-quart casserole dish with cooking spray.
  • In a large bowl, mash the sweet potatoes and combine with granulated sugar, salt, egg product, milk, and vanilla. Transfer the mixture into a casserole dish.
  • Combine all topping ingredients, except for the pecans, in a small bowl until fully mixed. Gently fold in the pecans. Sprinkle the mixture over the sweet potato.
  • Bake uncovered for 35-40 minutes, or until piping hot.
