Slow-cooked stew with hearty veggies simmered in savory onion soup mix and creamy golden mushroom soup.
Ingredients:
  • 4 carrots, chopped
  • 2 potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 1 cup sliced fresh mushrooms
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 3 stalks celery, chopped
  • 3 pounds cubed stew meat
  • 1 packet dry onion soup mix
  • 1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed golden mushroom soup
  • 1.75 cups water
Instructions:
  • Layer carrots, potatoes, mushrooms, onion, and celery in the slow cooker, then nestle stew meat on top of the vegetables.
  • Combine the soup mix and can of soup in a medium bowl. Mix in water until well combined. Pour over meat and vegetables in the slow cooker.
  • Ensure the meat is perfectly moist by adding just enough water to reach the bottom of the meat.
  • Simmer on Low overnight and top up with water as needed. Let it cook throughout the day until it reaches 24 hours in total.
