Indulge in a decadent slow-cooked Alfredo chicken over hot spaghetti with the ingredients you have.
Ingredients:
  • cooking spray
  • 4 (4 ounce) skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
  • 1 (.7 ounce) package dry Italian-style salad dressing mix
  • 1 clove garlic, pressed
  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1 (10.5 ounce) can condensed cream of chicken soup
  • 1 (4.5 ounce) can chopped canned mushrooms
  • 1 (8 ounce) package spaghetti
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
Instructions:
  • Prepare the slow cooker by spraying the crock with nonstick cooking spray. Add the chicken breasts. In a small bowl, mix water and Italian dressing mix, then pour over the chicken. Sprinkle garlic on top, cover, and cook on Low for 4 hours.
  • After 4 hours, blend cream cheese and condensed soup in a bowl. Pour mixture over chicken, add mushrooms, cover, and cook on Low for 1 hour.
  • In a large pot, bring salted water to a vigorous boil. Add spaghetti and cook uncovered until al dente, about 12 minutes. Drain pasta thoroughly.
  • Serve by generously topping the hot cooked pasta with the flavorful chicken and sauce mixture, then garnish with a sprinkle of fresh parsley for a finishing touch.
