Transform beef chuck roast into a mouthwatering slow-cooker masterpiece with chili seasoning mix and zesty barbecue sauce.
Ingredients:
  • 3-lb beef chuck roast
  • 1 packet (1 oz) Old El Paso™ Chili Seasoning Mix
  • 1/2 cup barbecue sauce
  • 10 onion kaiser rolls, split
  • 10 slices (1 oz each) cheddar cheese
Instructions:
  • Place a savory beef roast into the slow cooker, generously sprinkle the dry seasoning mix over it, and then drizzle with tangy barbecue sauce.
  • Simmer covered on Low heat for 8 to 10 hours until the chili seasoning turns black.
  • Take the beef out of the cooker and place it on a cutting board. Remove any fat from the top of the juices in the cooker. Use 2 forks to shred the beef and then mix it back into the juices. Fill each roll with 1/2 cup of beef and add cheese on top before serving.
